WHO AM I?

Growing up an outspoken, horny feminist in my staunchly Catholic homeland, I always felt like an outlaw stuck in the body of an awkward eldest daughter. Nowadays, I channel all the contradictions and complexities of those years into my work, exploring issues of gender, sexuality, cultural identity, and the relentless pursuit of self-expression with heart and humor (my favorite self-defense weapon). Although I still feel like a black sheep masquerading as a witty, sexy 30-year-old, on my therapist’s advice, I now simply identify as a work-in-progress.

After escaping leaving Texas for L.A. in 2016, I cut my teeth as a Director’s Assistant on Newness and The Addams Family. In 2019, I directed my short film debut, Ribbons. A coming-of-age dramedy, it screened at 20+ film festivals and won various awards, including the “Jury” and “Audience” awards at Topaz Film Festival.

I have written TV pilots, series presentations, and feature film scripts for production companies like Oak Street Pictures and Memorial Entertainment. Alongside my narrative storytelling, I’ve honed my skills as a copywriter, creating compelling content for websites, social media, blog posts, and newsletter campaigns. Whether I’m shaping a story for the screen or crafting copy that brings a brand to life, my goal is the same: to connect, spark meaningful conversation, and fan the flames of revolution.
